Love is Love

The day of silence is a day where youth around the country protest LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in their schools.This years day of silence is April 15th. Each person signs up to take a vow of silence for a LGBT student that has to stay ” in the closet” because if not they will be harassed. In mohonasen each student is to stay quiet from the homeroom bell until 230. After 230 we will be having a “break the silence” party in the art lobby ( all are welcome even if you didnt participate in staying silent all day). Everyone is asked to wear red on Friday in support even if your not taking the vow.
