Text 17 May Dont Ask Dont Tell policy

This policy is now repealed  but is a policy that bans any gay man, lesbian and bisexual serving in the military. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is the only law in this country that authorizes the firing of an American simply for coming out as gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Even if this policy wasnt banned i wouldnt have thought that it was right. No one no matter what should be told they could serve our country and risk their life just because of their sexual orientation. If someone puts their life on the line for millions of strangers it shouldnt matter. People think that just because someone is gay or bisexual that they would be a lot more sensitive to whats going on around them; but in reality a lot of gay men are very aggressive because of the abuse that they endure due to them being gay.
